O AI panopticon, O ravenous European cannibal spirit, O rampant reactionary evil in all the world — holy shit you get me down sometimes! Why do the worst people have all the power? And holy fuck why do they love raping and killing children so much?

They want to tackle, pin, beat up, handcuff, cage, and abuse a good deal of the population. They want to sell our forests. They want to poison and drain the water. They want to bomb several countries a year. They want to fill the sky with satellites until we can’t see the stars anymore. They are hungry for data and oil.

It’s the White supremacist Christofascist capitalist patriarchal extinction burst. It’s the same European warfare against Indigenous ways of living that’s been going on here for 500 years. It’s class warfare — predatory, extractive behavior against the working class and children and Black and Brown people and queer and disabled people and women and animals and the Earth itself.

These death rattle escalations come at the same time as major wins in Land Back news. They come at the same time as widespread LGBT acceptance. They come as younger generations are refusing capitalist propaganda and decrying the USA.

Reactionary violence means to put us back in our place, to subjugate, to make an example of some and inspire fear. But what’s the worst they can do? Kill me and reunite my spirit with the mysterious breath of life that moves throughout our beautiful planet? Radicalize the friends I leave behind?

Yes, it feels like there’s no possible way out of this, but nihilism is boring.

Will the story of the Earth really be a tragedy?
